Gary Carlson, Attorney

Mr. Carlson founded the law firm in 1974. Prior to forming the law firm, he served as a clerk for the Montana Supreme Court, an attorney with the National Labor Relations Board, Head of the Labor Relations Department, Compensation Department and Management, Training and Development Department at GTE, and a Vice-President of Reidel International, Inc. He has been the principal owner and CEO of a construction company and a swimming pool/hot tub company. He has extensive experience dealing with government, corporations and other business entities as well as being involved in the general practice of law for over thirty years.

After growing up in Montana, Mr. Carlson has lived in Washington, New York, Arizona and Oregon. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Montana in Business Administration and Marketing and also received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Montana. He is a member of the Oregon State Bar, Washington State Bar and Montana State Bar (inactive). He is admitted to practice before the US Supreme Court, the US Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Federal District Courts in Oregon, Washington, and Montana.

Mr. Carlson has broad experience in the areas of business and corporate law, family law, personal injury law, wills, trusts, estate planning, bankruptcy and criminal law.
